Here’s the adventure of a lifetime exploring the best of Colombia. Discover the country’s historic cities, lush forests, picture-perfect beaches, coffee regions, and more!

You’ll begin your tour with a tour of the city of Bogota, and a chance to see its colonial buildings, historic plazas, and informative museums. Take a cable car ride up Monserrate Hill, and marvel at the stunning views from the top. 

After some city time, you’re off to the jungle! You’ll transfer to an eco-lodge in Nuqui, where you can enjoy the marvelous ocean views and be surrounded by rich tropical jungle. Take this time to explore the area, go surfing, enjoy a kayak trip, scuba dive in the turquoise sea, and much more! 

After relaxing in Nuqui, head to Armenia where you’ll learn about coffee production and the process from harvest to the cup. While in Armenia, you’ll have the opportunity to explore one of the most beautiful valleys in Colombia, where you will also see the Palma de Cera, one of the world’s tallest palm trees. 

Later, you’ll visit San Agustin, where you will explore the archaeological park and surrounding waterfalls. There will be plenty of chances to have some free time for your own exploration. 

You will then head to Cartagena, where you can explore this lively city with picture perfect churches, museums, plazas, and more! 

End your tour with a boat trip to the Baru and Rosario Islands, where you can explore, swim, beach comb, and take some much-needed relaxation time before your flight home. 


Day 1: Bogota

You will be met at the airport upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Overnight Bogota hotel for two nights, daily breakfast included.

Day 2: Bogota

You'll start your guided tour of Bogota at the Plaza de Bolivar and the government buildings that surround it. Continue to the old part of the city known as La Candelaria, the San Francisco Church, the Gold Museum, and the Emerald Museum.

Take a cable car to the top of Monserrate Hill and enjoy the spectacular view. 

Day 3-5: Bogota - Medellin - Nuqui

You'll be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your flight to Nuquí.

From the airport, you will be transferred to the El Cantil eco-lodge. El Cantil overlooks the sea and is equipped with seven comfortable rooms, with a maximum capacity of six people per room, they have excellent bathrooms with a jungle view, closets and each bed cover with a mosquito net, ocean view terraces, and wood shingled roof.

Also available are two power boats, surfboards, kayak, diving equipment, a compressor for tanks filling and boogie boards.

Day 6: Nuqui - Armenia

This morning you will transfer back to the Nuquí Airport for your flight to Armenia. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your Armenia hotel. Overnight for two nights with daily breakfast included.

Day 7: Armenia

Today you will visit a special coffee growing farm. This visit includes an introduction to the technical and practical process, from cultivation to production, from harvest to cup. You'll become a true coffee connoisseur! 

Then, visit one of the most beautiful valleys in Colombia. You'll find the Palma de Cera, the national tree and one of the tallest types of palm in the world. Your tour of the Cocora Valley can be on foot or horseback (at additional cost). On the way back to Armenia the tour ends with a visit to Salento a picturesque village with an important the coffee culture.

Day 8: Armenia - Bogota - Neiva - San Agustin

This morning you will take a transfer to the airport for a flight to Neiva. From the airport you'll travel 4-5 hours through the mountains to San Agustin. You'll reach the village and a beautiful hotel that will be your home for the next three nights. 

Day 9: San Agustin Archaeological Park

After breakfast, visit San Agustín Archaeological Park, to Mesitas A – B – C and D, the “Fuente Ceremonial de Lavapatas” and the “Archaeological Museum”.

Around noon, you'll take a trip to the nearby village of San José de Isnos, which also includes the spectacular landscapes surrounding the “Salto del Mortiño” waterfall.

Towards the end of the day, return trip to San Agustín. Time to rest and explore the village.

Day 10: San Agustin - San José De Isnos

After breakfast depart on a trip to the nearby village of San José de Isnos, to see the treasures of its archaeological park, the “Alto de los Ídolos”, “Alto de las Piedras”, and the “Salto Del Mortiño” waterfalls.

In the afternoon return to San Agustín where you will have free time for exploration.

Day 11: San Agustin - Neiva - Bogota - Cartagena

Today you will transfer back to the airport for a flight to Cartagena. Transfer to your hotel for the next 3 nights. 

Day 12: Cartagena - Half-day city tour

Enjoy a spectacular tour of Cartagena de Indias. You'll visit the Convent of La Popa, the highest point in the city.

You will then go to the Castillo de San Felipe, an immense fort filled with history hidden in its stone-walled tunnels.

Then, visit the monument to Zapatos Viejos, the “Old Shoes”.

A defensive wall surrounds the old city, which overlooks the sea and its well-preserved colonial architecture makes Cartagena deserving of the title UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will find churches, museums, plazas, restaurants, shops and jewelry stores.

Day 13: Barú and Rosario islands

You will be picked up at your hotel and brought to the pier where you will take a speedboad across the Cartagena Bay, through Bocachica towards El Rosario Islands.

Your first stop is at Cholon beaches where you'll enjoy the stunning, clear waters.

Continue on to Pirate Island where you'll be welcomed with coffee break and some extra time to swim or just relax on the island.

After lunch, you'll continue to San Martin Island and a visit to the aquarium.

After that, you begin the return trip to Pirate Island where there will be more time to relax, swim or snorkel. In the afternoon you return to Cartagena where you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Day 14: Int'l Departure

Transfer to the airport for your departing flight.
