Take a cultural adventure in South East Asia that combines your love of travel with giving back! As you explore the ancient kingdoms of Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam, you’ll visit incredible landmarks, breathtaking views, and picture-perfect beaches.
This is a land of contrasts! From bustling metropolises, night bazaars, to white sand beaches and jungle waterfalls, you’ve never been so stimulated! Take in the cultural sites, temples, Buddha statues, with fantastic opportunities to enjoy the natural world as well.
In addition to exploring this cultural mecca, you’ll also take part in 4 weeks of volunteering. Choose from projects in teaching, community development, or upgrade to beach conservation for an additional cost.

Settle into your guest house where you will meet the rest of the group before exploring the local area.
Today you'll receive a trail briefing, health and safety awareness information and then begin your adventure.
You'll start off with a visit to the Grand Palace and the temple of the Emerald Buddha. These monuments are masterfully carved and honour Thailand's ancient kings, and are a great beginning to your adventure.
You will then visit the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, and Wat Arun. Optional river canal tour is available for $10.
Visit this remarkable city in Northern Thailand where you'll explore the temple of Wat Chedi Luang and visit with local monks to learn more about life at a Thai Monastery and Buddhism.
Later enjoy a jungle trek in Chiang Mai or Pai. The experience will have you walking and bathing elephants, water rafting, bamboo rafting in a remote hill village.
Then, visit a night bazaar of Chiang Mai and pick up some souvenirs.
Continue North to visit Pai where your accommodation will be in bamboo huts along the river or wooded hillsides. Enjoy river tubing before taking a trek through the beautiful hills.
Later explore by bicycle and explore the surrounding area which boasts hot springs and waterfalls in the Pai Canyon.
Travel back down to Chiang Mai. Enjoy the night out at the Rooftop Bar before heading back to Bangkok.
Explore the natural and historical jewels of the area while taking in the beautiful landscapes, towering waterfalls, pagodas and wonderful museums.
You'll then explore Erawan National Park, where you can see various animals including monkeys. Then, visit Wat Tham Seua and Wat Tham Khao Noi by bike. Learn about the rich Thai history and explore the River Kwai.
You'll visit two islands, either Koh Tao, Koh Phi Phi, or Koh Chang and spend some time relaxing on the picture-perfect beaches. Enjoy snorkelling and kayaking in the blue waters, or take a dive course and learn to dive in these perfect conditions!
Today is a travel day.
Enjoy your introduction to Cambodia and discover the beautiful lakes, floating villages, and visit the temple complex of Angkor Wat. You may also visit the Terrace of Elephants and a Siem Reap night market.
You'll begin the volunteer portion of your trip. Choose from teaching and community development, beach conservation (extra cost applies) or a combination of projects (at an extra cost). Additionally, you have the option to take part in Marine Conservation and Scuba Diving (at an extra cost).
Visit the bustling metropolis, Royal Palace, Wat Phnom, the S 21 Museum and the Killing Fields. This is a very moving experience.
This is a travel day.
Venture into this vibrant and industrious urban centre with its bubbling and exhilarating vibe. Visit the War Remnants Museum containing eye-opening exhibits relating to the American phase of the Vietnam War and Cu Chi Tunnels to discover how the Viet Cong lived during the war and their guerrilla warfare. See the pastel-hued pagodas and pick up some real bargains from the tiny merchants and traders of the many side streets and alleys. Take a walking tour of the city taking in views of the cathedral, opera house, Reunification Palace and Ben Thanh market. If there is time and you have any energy left you can opt to take a tour of the Mekong Delta, home of rice fields and floating markets (approx. $60).
En route to Hanoi, you will have the chance to encounter several of Vietnam's most diverse towns and villages. Mui Ne offers the chance to see the magnificent sand dunes that expand along the coast where you may be able to try out sand boarding. Visit the local fishing village and watch the fishermen bring in their catch at sunrise and enjoy beautiful vistas from the beach as you relax. If sandboarding isn't sufficient for the adrenalin addicts to opt to try out quad biking ($25).
Nha Trang gives you the chance to chill with a day snorkelling, sunbathing and swimming while you enjoy a Four Island Tour. Nha Trang also offers scuba diving (extra cost applies).
Hoi An is a stunning little town bursting with Chinese influences at every corner. World famous for its tailors, you could stroll past a delicate Chinese temple with colourful lanterns lining the streets and drop into a tailor to get measured up for your new suit or ball gown made from Thai silk! Hire bikes and cycle along the river to enjoy sunbathing, swimming and general relaxing on the beach.
Visit Hué and see the imperial tombs, the old citadel and enjoy a walk along the Perfume River.
Explore Hanoi by taking a walking tour of this vibrant and colourful city of a million bicycles, picking up the last few souvenirs. Visit the night markets and take in one of Vietnam's famous shows at the Water Puppet Theatre.
