But we hope you stick around. We’re just getting started at something pretty good.
We will pick you up at your hotel early in the morning, and transport you to the water. After boarding the research vessel, the team will brief you on the research protocols. Throughout the day you will learn about the various science and research projects including photo-identification, population analysis, satellite tagging and genetic analysis. Heading out from La Paz we will hug the coastline, searching for whale sharks and stopping periodically to investigate. You’ll have the chance to snorkel (gear provided) and we will take time out for a lunch break. Beverages, snacks and lunch are all included. Don’t miss out on the chance to get up close to whale sharks alongside Mexico’s top researchers working to understand and protect these magnificent creatures.
