About this program

Created for teens aged 15-18, this active expedition brings like-minded teens together to help expert researchers discover how the best ways to protect the Alpine environment from both human intrusion and climate change.

Hike through the beautiful Andorran Pyrenees, on a mission to collect data about the local plants and animals. Study the daily growth of plants, track biodiversity and enjoy exciting cultural excursions with your team!



Day 1:

Arrival, meet teammates, introduction to research

Day 2-4:

Training on sampling techniques and sampling activities, including: Small mammals monitoring Simultaneous birds of prey census Vegetation surveys

Day 5:

“Day-off”: help organize data collected, visit sites with cultural interest

Day 3-8:

Daily activities (same as Days 2-4)
